Contact details you give us (name, email, company); property data you upload or connect (rent rolls, unit and lease fields, marketing package and vendor details, budgets); and basic usage data (pages viewed, plans built, emails delivered).
To run the service: forecast leasing exposure, build flighted budgets and audits, generate package recommendations, and send the emails you ask for (plans, sign-in links, savings digests, and — only when you click Approve — a package-change request to your vendor rep, with you CC'd). We also use aggregate, de-identified data to improve our models and benchmarks. We do not sell your data, ever.
Rent rolls are used solely to compute exposure and budgets. We encourage uploads without resident names — unit, floorplan, dates, and rent are all the model needs. If a roll includes resident details, we don't use them for anything beyond parsing the roll, and we'll remove them on request.
Trusted processors that run the product: Railway (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email), and Anthropic (AI plan generation). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. Vendor reps receive a change request only after your explicit approval.
Data is encrypted in transit, stored in access-controlled systems, and kept while your account is active. Email hello@getmaren.io to export or delete your data — we complete deletion within 30 days.
